The New Testament word for gift (charisma) has often been translated as grace. All God’s gifts reflect His grace, and the fact that they are gifts means that they are free and cannot be earned. The New Testament’s theology of grace is rooted in the Old Testament idea of God’s favor, which is shown to those who do not deserve it and cannot help themselves.
SEVEN FOUNDATIONS FOR UNITY
We have trouble with this. We mistake uniformity for unity. We mistake intellectual agreement for unity. But there is no mistaking the oil of anointing in life lived together. There’s no mistaking the refreshment of a saturated mountain-morning when God’s kids learn how to play nicely together.
OUR CALLING, OUR CHARACTER, OUR CONDUCT
In today’s text, you are admonished to walk worthy of the ministry you have received and have been called into. Inform yourself as a minister of God that many eyes are upon you and that many others around you are putting their confidence on you. Knowing this as a minister, you are to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called. Now that God has called you unto His holiness to be like Him in Holiness Revival Movement, you have wholesome responsibility to ensuring that you work worthy of the grace the Lord has given you. See yourself as most privileged to hear from God what others have not heard.
TELL HIS STORY
All Jesus did that day was tell stories a long storytelling afternoon. His storytelling fulfilled the prophecy: I will open my mouth and tell stories; I will bring out into the open things hidden since the world’s first day.
LEAVING OLD JARS BY THE WALL
The living water that Jesus offers is for everyone. Jesus chose to talk with a Samaritan woman who was a social and moral outcast in her community. Jesus crossed multiple social lines by even asking her for a drink. Jesus is a loving and accepting God, and we should follow his example.

MARY AND JOSEPH - RESPONSE TO THE REVELATION OF GOD

THE WISEMEN - CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: ... Matthew 2:1-12 (ESV)
BIBLICAL MEDITATION
A devotional practice that we engage in with God’s help to know Him better, love Him more, experience closer communion with Him, and live for His glory.
''This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.'' Joshua 1:8 (ESV)
